I have not been able to locate the trun signal flasher on my 89 blazer. Can anyone help me with the location and easiest method to get to it?

Try the fuse block under the dash on the driver's side.

Thanks Brooster for the reply... I've already checked that flasher.. I was told that the turn signal flasher is a different flasher that's up under the dash somewhere.. Is that possible?

Snowman, I checked out the area around the cig lighter and it wasn't there.. guess they keep moving it around to keep everyone guessing...hehehehehe.. Thanks anyway.. guess I'll have to rip the entire dash out to locate it..

What are you trying to fix, turn signals or 4-way flashers? How many prongs are on the flasher you found, two or three?

It's the turn signal that I'm trying to fix.. The flashers work fine.. I'll check again to see how many prongs are on the one located on the fuse block and get back with ya on that.. getting forgetful in my old age..

That flasher on the fuse block has 2 prongs... The chevy gurage told me that the turn signal flasher was up inside the middle of the dash somewhere... another gurage told me it was up by the steering colum but I looked there and it's not there... I haven't figured out how to take the dash apart yet..

Mine was under the dash right next to the lighter. You need a 3/16 nut driver and a T-30 torx, (that is the "star" looking screw driver) its not that hard to figuer out just take your time i just got done doing the same exact thing. The flasher is a lil tricky to get out. There will be two things that look the same. One is the Hazards and one is the blinkers. Turn on your flashers when you find them, and simply pull the one that is not making the clicking sound. Good luck. There will be alot of screws.

On my 89 blazer the turn signal flasher is at the fuse panel by drivers left foot

The '99 is right behind the glove box. There's a stop on the glove box that pushes in to let the glove box drop. The flasher unit is for both turn signals and hazards - it's an electronic box around $13 and it doesn't look like a "normal" flasher unit.
