DHP case learningM3eater 02-08-2004, 01:55 PM OK, I live in Germany and am expecting my DHP in the mail any day now. There is one GM dealer around here, and I'm not sure how much English they speak. I need to know everything about case learning the PCM (what it is, how they do it, etc) so when I go to the dealership, they don't end up messing it up. Ripn12s 02-08-2004, 02:19 PM http://www.clubgp.com/cgi-asp/mods.asp?modid=48 Print that out and take it with you. If you need any other direction I would email DHP. They can email you the instructions also. This should take about 5 minutes kilroypr 02-08-2004, 04:50 PM I read Ripn12s link. When my car got the DHPV1.0 installed that procedure was not followed. The PCM has been on the car 2.5 months now, should I do this procedure as well? Ripn12s 02-08-2004, 04:52 PM It cant hurt M3eater 02-09-2004, 02:16 PM Thanks for the link. On that page, it says to enter 98 as the vehicle year. I have a 99... does it matter or was that write-up for 98s? Ripn12s 02-09-2004, 04:53 PM Try entering 99 and if it doesnt work then try the 98. I cant remember the exact reason why DHP did this. fast98gtp 02-09-2004, 11:30 PM iv had the reprogrammed pcm for over a year and havent gotten the case learning done. if i did would it make the car run any different? what if i dont do it? do you think the dealer would charge anything? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
