Dont worry about resale value, neons are to common so they have a very low resale value anyway. gut your trunk to get rid of weight, getting rid of ac also helps quite a bit. the whole system is like 30 lbs, and your motor wont have to turn the ac pump. NeonStyl 02-11-2004, 01:34 PM There is a list of other simple weight reductions HERE (http://members.aol.com/_ht_a/fusion210/neon.html) for first-gen Neons. :) L8R, 03cavyTT 02-11-2004, 05:37 PM you can also take out the back seat and passenger seat and replace your seat with a light weight racing seat blachdohcneon 02-11-2004, 07:42 PM yeah but thats kinda wack, when you pull up to race somone and they have an empty car with only the drivers seat. It's just another way (the best way) to go faster. NeonStyl 02-12-2004, 03:08 AM Hey! That's a buddy of mine. Well, sorta: he's in my Neon club. :) Hehe... yea, Chris & the beer can :) lol. Scatch! 02-12-2004, 11:04 PM For you. Me too. But some folks like a light car for speed, even if it's like driving a "beer can". :) I don't see why it's not a legitimate way to go faster.
