k&n filter worth it???got v-tec? 02-08-2004, 03:43 AM is a k&n filter worth the money? is it really better than other intakes you can get for $20.00?does anyone have one on there teg? i really cant see how it can get more air flow than the dual filter ones on ebay. realisticly how much more whp will i see with a 3"iceman intake w/typhoon or fipk filter OVER my 3"unkown short air intake w/ unkown filter of ebay for $50 nvrenough 02-08-2004, 03:49 AM K&N's are nice but if you are want your car to breath better I would go with an AEM V2 cold air intake. nvrenough 02-08-2004, 03:50 AM Go to Kinkyimports.com and look up your car. boosted_88_CRX 02-08-2004, 04:07 AM AEM pretty much uses K&N filters.. Polygon 02-08-2004, 01:42 PM Apexi makes a good filter element and I would buy that over the K&N. The power gains from these filters will be minimal on a small displacement engine. The most you would see from one of these filters is 5HP but more like 2 or 3. The real benefit to these types of filters is not having buy new ones all the time. It will save you money in the long run. got v-tec? 02-16-2004, 06:40 AM right know im debating over an aem filter or weapon-r dragon filter. anybody got an opinion??? frozen_Joth 02-16-2004, 10:51 AM I've always heard the Weapon-R Intakes are good. But I dunno cuz' I don't have one. I would go with AEM or K&N. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
