How to find aJas_M 02-08-2004, 12:45 AM Hey all, i was wondering if any of you could offer some advice as to what kinds of questions to ask, and what to look for in a good performance shop. I'm in the process of researching my options in regards to an engine swap, and i'd like to find a shop that is knowledgable about Hondas and swaps, etc. Obviously, i know to ask how much experience they have doing swaps, and if they have any references i could check out, but what else is there to ask? I a posted a thread in the US Central section looking for references as well. I don't want to just start picking out names of garages at random out of the phone book, so i'm hoping to get as much info here as i can before i move on in getting more info. Thanks in advance! Jas_M 02-12-2004, 11:54 PM Geez, no one has any advice? :banghead: filipnoy85 02-13-2004, 12:47 AM I really have no clue, so don't look at me for advice on shopping. I would recommend deleting this post and reposting with a different title. Maybe "what to look for in a good performance shop." If i wasn't bored as hell i wouldn't have read this post. Maybe if you change the name you'll get more people to read. GScivic7 02-13-2004, 01:48 AM Just walk into shops and ask them how many swaps they have done. There are a lot of shops out there that are more or less Honda only places. Just walk in and start asking questions. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
