[COLOR=royalblue] Once and awhile my 93 blazer vortec won't start, do to no spark. I have replaced the spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor. and right after I did this, it doesn't want to start sometimes. By the way the spark plug gap was pre set to .035, but I changed it to what the engine compartment said .045 could that be the problem? Could someone tell me what it could be? It would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

It could be a bad coil. Or the wire from your coil to the distributor cap is not making a good connection. Try checking the connection at both the distributor cap and the coil. If your coil is old, all the new parts may have caused it to go belly up. Sometimes bad coils can be intermittent in generating the spark. I don't claim to be an expert, but those are the things that have worked for me in the past...Tom

I've had the coil pack tested and said it was fine. It's an aftermarket coil that the private seller replaced not to long ago. It could be a faulty spark plug wire cause I haven't checked them since I put them in. Thank you for the reply, now it's got me thinking what to check out next.

I can check them, but they only have 4000 miles on the plugs. 1 could be gapped to much, I will check them all again.
