No check engine light????

I want to run OBD but I dont even have a check engine light. Is there another way to the test. Its a 95.

the "check engine light" should come on when you first turn the ignition switch on. if it doesn't the lamp is burnt out.

only other way to check it is to spend the hundred and some odd bucks at kragen, autozone...wherever and get the obdII tester. I'm saying buy it as opposed to letting a shop do it because you now have a tool that can tell you specifically what is wrong with your baby.
Plus, most shops won't tell you what is actually wrong. They just hit you with the bill.
