I have a 90 GMC 1/2 ton pickup that will not advance. I have replaced the distributor, the module in the distributor, computer, and ran all the wires with none broken. Also getting the code no advance. Has anyone else had this problem and any suggestions would be very helpful.

I dont have the fuel inj suppliment in front of me, but if you can get a copy...there are a few siple tests you can make with a dvom and a test light to see if any of the wires are broken---try to obtain this manual or wait a day for me to get mine...

what won't advance? the timing?

Not to sound stupid, but is the timing connector plugged in? Seems like it is a brown/black wire behind the relay panel.
