best springs to get?rosman4u 02-06-2004, 12:37 AM hello all, just wondering if anyone has used Tein (or a better brand) springs on their 240 and what is the best combo for your ride, e.g.., front 2.25" drop & rear 2" drop, I want to lower my car but not feel like i'm hoppin all over the place if I hit a bump, I guess just get as close as I can to a stock feel, also not too low to the point I'm scrapin my tires, this is my ride with its stock height right now: http://atlas.walagata.com/w/flexart2go/my240sx.jpg Fliquer 02-06-2004, 01:27 AM Nice paint. Some eibach sportlines would be good, but DO NOT get new springs only. Unless you're using new factory springs, you should get stiffer aftermarket struts as well. You can have either a 2" drop or a decent ride, but NOT both. An eibach prokit + some tokico blues should drop your ride about 1-1.5 inches, and be pretty comfortable. Otherwise go with eibach sportlines and some Konis for a serious 2" drop and a stiff ride. publicenemy137 02-06-2004, 01:37 AM yea i'm in the same boat, I need to lower my car. But where I live there's a bunch of pot holes everywhere, and the ride is rocky enough as it is... But I hate the fender gap rosman4u 02-06-2004, 07:52 AM Nice paint. Thx, eibach sportline huh, I was just considering the 2" drop due to huge gap I have in the wheel well, but the konig's with a 1.5" drop sound pretty tempting, so your saying even if I get some konig's with a set of eibach springs going with a 2" drop, it would'nt feel comfortable? just asking cause I want to make sure before I spend the cash, thanx for the info once again. mxdmod 02-06-2004, 10:22 AM GEt brand new suspension =) JIC FLA 2 coilover suspension.. then you could do whatever u want +) or teins or apexi.. your choice vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
