Difference between 95-99 M3 bodydep8 02-05-2004, 08:02 PM what is the difference between the 95 -99 m3's ...is the body the same..and how is the interior space..is another year more spacious??? and does the newer years front differnt??? thanks eric_r 03-02-2004, 12:41 AM Fairly sure they are completely identical. 95s have older style kidney grills while 96+ are aerodynamic I guess you could say. 97-98 offered the sedan only. 97 I believe was the ONLY year the color Byzanz was offered. xAUTOxRACERx 03-02-2004, 02:25 PM Actually the grill on the 95-96 are the same. The grill changed in 97-99. In 97 is when they came out with the sedan version for the M3. 96-99 is when the 3.2 liter motor was put inplace of the 95 3.0 liter motor. Also i want to say that the 97-99 is when they have the arm rest for the interior quote me if I am wrong. Hope this helps a little. Jeff MyAccordEx 04-04-2004, 05:35 AM Which M3 option is ghr best from 97-99? Bavarian Boy M3 04-05-2004, 07:20 PM theres no armrest in the 97 M3,and no they actually made BOTH a sedan and coupe version of the 97 and 98 M3's. i dont see how a 96 M3's body differs aerodynamically from a 95. could someone verify this claim? xAUTOxRACERx 04-19-2004, 07:35 PM I thought 95-96 had the same body styling! Just a different motor am i right? Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
