I really want to own a 206, however, i have heard of the problems that come with importing one from mexico. Would someone tell me if there is a difference in ease of import if i tried bringing one from europe. Thanks for the help!

Well, I'm from Mexico city and I work at a Peugeot dealer. :shakehead , the 206's we sell have lotīs of problems, mainly on the inyector calculator (thatīs how we call it here), so it stalls all the time, has no power and burns gas like a mofo! :eek7:
everything is fixed at the dealer with no cost with a simple data transfer from france right to the carīs computer. it also has noises in the back seat clamp system. Other than that the little car runs ok, personally I like vwīs better. I dunno how much is to import one from europe but I think it would be easyer to drive it up nort  h from here.
