I was looking at goodies for my tahoe on Ebay, I was wondering if any one had used the projector style replacement head light assy's. if you have, how is the light output, do they look good, and are they worth it?

I think i like the way they look, but i just want to make sure that if i get em they dont make it imposible to drive at night.

Check the feedback ratings/comments on the people that are selling it...this would let you know if their customers were satisfied...

I ordered a set from an online company, and returned them due to the fact that one side did not work. There is something you should know about these, the projector lamp is an ION bulb hard wired to the harness, and according to the dealer, is unreplacable, when just say a Danali blows one of these bulbs, they replace the entire headlamp.

I went ahead and ordered some Crystal Clear headlamps, which you use the stock bulbs, and it looks killer. The low beam lens is as clear as the high beam. I also bought some Crystal Clear turn signal lamps to complete the front. Here is the link where I purchased them:

I would avoid the projector lamps due to the unavailability of replacement ION bulbs.

Looks like a nice unit, on my 04 the stock ones were plastic to begin with.

I have ordered the projector headlights from ebay. I installed a set of piaa bulbs and still couldn't see a thing at night. i sold them on ebay a couple of weeks later. I would definelty not buy them again.

I have purchased a set of projectors for my 2001 tahoe on ebay. you can't see a thing at night even with piaa bulbs. i have since sold them a couple of weeks later. would not buy again
