I've seen a 350z smoke aWS6 TA. The race wasent even close. My friend and I were wondering could a stock z do that to a TA. I'm pertty sure it was stock cause the temp tag expired 02/15/04 and the day was Jan 18.

What year was the WS6? I can't see a 350 Z "smokin" an LS-1 anytime unless the Z was modded.

2000-2001 not to sure about the year though. Maby it was modded. It didnt sound any different from a stock Z.

Was the TA sick? Was it wounded in some way? The driver suck ass? There needs to be some kind of explanation for it.

Well, if the trans am was sport'n the LT-1 then i can see that cause they sucked and ran 14.4 stock in the 1/4, but if it was a newer LS1 powered TA, then no... Stock LS1 TA's run anywhere from 13.5-13.8 stock... So there would be no spanking going on there..

I found out the TA was a 1999 with an a/t. The driver was a 17 year old male who just got his license. The Z had cai and exhaust and was driven by a girl in her late 20's. that's all I have found out.

A TA Should be beating a 350Z (usually)

I could see that then... If it was a young inexperinced driver in the T/A and the other person in the Z had some experince, then yeah it's possible. Even drivers and I'd give the edge to the T/A, no disrespect to the 350, I think it's a great car.
