I'm looking into puttin a new system into my car, cause they stuff i have in there is junk. I just want it as a every day driver car, kinda on a budget(not cheap), but don't want the very high end or low end stuff. If you were buying a system, what brands would you want to buy or prefer. I'm talkin head unit, amp, mids, tweeters, the works. Thanks

I would either go ALPINE or Rockford Fosgate.
I have an alpine system and I'm extremely happy with it. They have high and low end stuff as far as price goes. My brother is a Rockford fan for the most part, I dont think you can go wrong with either one.

BTW; their component speakers cant be beat (unless your goin for the proffesional competition stuff)

Make for sure whoever puts it in, does it right. People like me HATE fixing other installation shops' screw-ups!

Well, I am no big "audio guy" but as far as an HU goes... I would recommend Alpine as well.
