I do get a spark. It just dies on me going down the road. Some times I can turn the key back and turn it on again and it would go. now I can't get it to go at all. I only had it running for a couple of months. HELP!!!!!!! pegasus757 02-03-2004, 04:59 PM read my last post about a wierd ign problem...if you have some starting fluid spray a little in the air cleaner and see if it will start . also check the fuses in the car and also outside in the black box next to the battery PLZ use a small amount of starting fluid just a shot or two. starting fluid vs gas is like setting off a grenade in a phonebooth vs a firecraker mommyov_3 02-03-2004, 09:17 PM i DID CHECK THE FUES, i PUT A NEW FUEL censor on it and it ran great for a sec. I took it up the road. After I tried to start it again,, again nothing it wouldn't start. I checked the fuel line thats not the problem. I am clueless.... Scatch! 02-03-2004, 09:52 PM Why are you so sure it's not the fuel pump? Have you checked the relays? Have you had the battery and connections checked and cleaned? It very easily be a corroded/loose battery connection. How about the O2 sensors? I doubt that it's an O2 sensor, since you run open until the engine warms up, but it's worth looking into. mommyov_3 02-04-2004, 01:19 PM I already had the fuel pump checked out. NJH_Habitatpro 02-05-2004, 11:36 PM throttle body wire im almost sure of it have it checked. blachdohcneon 02-11-2004, 10:32 AM you put in a new fuel censor, do you mean a new fuel pump fuse? if you did and it ran but died, did you blow the fuse again? if you did thats your problem. cyber_lord 02-12-2004, 10:24 AM Have you tried the onboard diagnostic test to see if it gives you any codes Telling you What is Wrong?http://members.cox.net/cyber_lord/ON-BOARD%20DIAGNOSTICS.htm Related Links Participate in thousands of discussions at AutomotiveForums.com!
