'98 2500 Club Cab

Looking into buying a '98 2500 Diesel. Used, Fully loaded, 130,000 miles. Any suggestions on what to look out for? Any warnings? Past Experiences? before I take the plunge? (female, so be specific :-) )

Heard some talk about unrelyable Dodge transmissions, any truth?

Can the old torke converters be switched out with the new five point systems in the 2003's?
