98 Accord stops in the morning

Hi,
My 98 Honda Accord EX has about 89K miles. In the mornings, it starts fine on ignition but when i start to drive and stop (maybe at a stop sign or light), it just dies and all lights come on as in the neutral gear. I have to restart the car to proceed.

This continues for about 5 minutes (when the Temperature needle rises around halfway between C and H)

Someone mentioned that its because of a dying battery. I haven't replaced the battery in the last 6 years.

Help!!! Thanks

I think you should bring it to a dealer to check, becuz they recalled all the 98 accord a year ago. I didn't have any problem with mine but I did and they fixed mine without any charge

i had the kind of the same problem to but my car would stall out after when i started it the rpms would just go way down and die out but sometimes when i would go to take off from park it would also stall try checking your throttle body and cleaning it out it worked for me
