The transmission in my 2000 Durango slips when cold. Checeked fluid and it showed to have too musch in it. None has been added to my knowledge in several months. Seems to be getting less mpg as well. Suggestions please.

Have the transmission fluid cooler checked, it could have a blockage reducing the flow of fluid and causing it to back up in the transmission.
