There is a 92 SLC Corrado in my town. the guy has 25k on it, and i have never seen him driving it. It's all stock, but its immaculate. All the leather is perfect, doesn't even look like its been sat in. I have been working up the nerve to talk him into selling it, but i fugured if i offered him like 8k for it, he might either laugh at me, or just hand me the title. I don't have any clue what something like that would sell for. Anybody got an idea what would be a good offer that wouldn't get me ripped off, or get him pissed?

I bought my old 93 SLC for 2k but it had 150k on the clock, and needed a bunch of work, and from what i hear i got a steal on it.

8k would be a good place to start. If he's smart he'll try to sell it for closer to 10 or 12k

Here's an easy way to see what the car is worth (not even close to 8 grand):

http://www.edmunds.com/used/1992/volkswagen/corrado/6156/options.html?tmvaction=vdpresult&tid=edmunds.u.options.utmv.vdpoption.1.Volkswagen*

But what he'd sell it for....now that's a different story. Hell, a Corrado with 25K miles on it, I'd seriously consider paying 8 for it.
