can n e tell me how to program the key fob for a 2000 g20t or do u have to go to a dealership? please help

Here's what I found on these forums. If you find out anything else please let me know. I think my keyless remote though is shot because it was submerged in water. I'll let you know if it works when I win a new one off Ebay.

Get in car and close the door.
1) Lock all doors via power lock button
2)Pop the trunk
3)Put the key in the ignition 8 times in and out (my hazard lights blinked after the 7th one, let me know if yours do too)
4)Unlock the doors (power)
5)Lock the doors (power)
6) Push Lock on your keyless remote

That's all I found out so far. I don't know if it works but I did get a reaction from my hazard lights. They said nothing happens when you hit lock but it should work after that. Let me know thanks.

BTW, I have a 1999 G20 so they are very similar. If anyone can help me with mine, I'd appreciate it.
