well it sais 94 Z28 so unless he swaped engines its an LT1

An easy way to tell that it is an LT1 powered F-Body is the dash board. The dash boards on an LT1 have vents on the side. I believe the LT1 maro has heads/cam, exh., and bolt ons. Believe it or not a heads/cam LT1 can make over 450 rwhp (Depends on how aggressive the cam is, and how free flowing the heads are). All i know about the Supra is that he had a BOV.

Yup, you can tell by the dash easily the difference between the two...

The dash helps identify it, but I can also tell by the unmistakable sound. That is exactly how my car sounds at WOT, almost identical...

LS1's sound a lot different...

As was stated before, a decent heads/cam combo on a LT1 can be nasty, especially with some AFR LT4 Heads and Intake and a healthy cam...

400 hp :rofl: thats all man i have a t78 supra :screwy: even on 82 gas my car stills put out 570 hp :disappoin and on race gas at 28psi it put out 700 hp so no, man i blew a tuned viper acr and a 550, maybe if it was a tuned z06, but now a 400 hp car :nono: thats why i said that but the lt1 is hot but i just know supra's and for that lt1 to pull like that it had to be stock or the guy could not drive even a bpu+++ suprawhich has 400 till 460 hp with stock turbos would have taken him why because supra are top end cars from 4th to 6th its all us because of the gearing but the lt1 did kill that supra but i just know about my car that is why i know that he would have not done that to me here ar some thing that are done to my car

I think you have to look at it in perspective here bud. Of course your car is going to blow it away, 700hp is crazy for any car. That doesn't mean that the supra in the video didn't have any mods :screwy:. If that LT1 had the heads/cam as suggested it was probably somewhere in the 400rwhp range. That will own MANY supras, stock and modified. Also, not that it was an issue, but for a good head/cam package for an LT1 might run in the range of about $2,500 total. Tally up your rap sheet and let us know how much that 700hp cost you to make... :biggrin: Don't try to BS either, cause I know that stuff is expensive. :) A friend of mine is swapping a t67 into his TT right now, and I know what kinda cash he is putting out for this swap, and he is installing it all himself...

On another note, supras are well known for being dyno queens. I'm curious as to what you have been able to pull at the track. Not cause I don't believe you, but just cause I really am curious. My guess is that the heads/cam LT1 in the video runs low 12's, possibly 11.99 in the 1/4 mile with a tailwind... If he has just over half of the horsepower of your car, you should be in the 10's easy right?

Anyone know what a 500hp Supra and a 1000hp Supra have in common?

Here's the pics you posted in your gallery.

Boy, you must think we're dumb.

One: The pictures you posted aren't of the same car, or it looks that way.

The bottom two pictures both show deep-dish rims, while the top one doesn't have the deep-dish.

The middle car obviously has an aftermarket wing, and bodykit, while the other two pictures do not. Not to mention the fact that the middle picture shows a Greddy-style muffler that is pointing straight-back, while the bottom one is an HKS-type muffler mounted JDM-style, and although I can't see it too clearly from my school's old-ass monitors, I believe that the top one also has a Greddy-style muffler, except it has it mounted JDM-style, as opposed to pointing straight back.

Two: The middle picture clearly shows a watermark that says "MVPmotorsports.com" on it. Well, I went to their site (http://www.mvpmotorsports.com/merchant/index.shtml), and they are clearly in Houston, and you are in North Carolina. You usually travel halfway (literally!) across the country to get your car tuned?

If that's the case, you're dumb, as there are some awesome Supra tuners in Florida, just about a state down from you, through South Carolina.

Three: Your profile also states that you have a Bell turbo-charged NSX...where's the pics of that? I know I'd be DAMNED proud to display a car like that in my gallery. What's your screenname at NSXprime.com?

:nono: first of all all of those pic were taken a different times the top pic was when we first got the car the bottom one was the 2nd taken about 2 years later and the middle one is how it looks some what now and yes the car was sent to houston, why because we brought the whole motor and turbo kit the whole package, they also changed the exhaust i don't know if you notice that too so that is why they are different and even now i am about to change some more about the car but its the same one trust me but as for my nsx my girl drives it most of the time so i don't have any real pic's of it, only pic of it might be like the coner of it like its not the main abject in the pic if you know what i mean but any ways what do you think of my supra

no the z28 is a great car and my friend has one that has gears head job chip intake exhaust cams pulleys and a lot of goodies so in noway is the z28 not a drag king ok

smoke: The only way we'll believe you now is if you come correct with some pictures taken recently. It's kinda rare to find somebody that owns a turbo Supra MKIV, so a picture with the two cars side-by-side and a picture of the engine-bays of both cars, and with that same house that is the third picture of "your" Supra as backdrop.

That should be all we need to believe you. No need for written signs or anything...just that.

And since I'm sure you can afford a nice digicam or maybe a scanner, I'll give you till Sunday to post these up.
