First race:
My G35 vs friends 93 cobra lightly modded
Both are fairly quick cars, and I predicted to be a good race, which it was. We only staged once. We have some really nice roads in Arizona, so we had atleast 2 miles of open road before we would have to worry about a side street. My friend jason was driving his cobra, and although he is a new driver, he is pretty comfortable in his car, and can drive it pretty well. My G35 is auto so not much to say there other then push down the pedal. Got the cars staged up next to eachother and did the 3 honk think and took off. His launch was much better being a manual, he could actually punch it right off the line, whereas the stupid G35 doesn't have a stall speed I want on it. Eitherway my front bumper was still a foot infront of his rear bumper. All through second gear neither car moved more than an inch. When he shifted to third I regained almost all my lost ground, and was now only about 1 foot behind his front bumper now. Wound out third and still no movement between either vehicle, I shifted to third before he did, so I went back to about his rear quarterpanel. Shortly afterwards he attempted to shift to 4th, but didn't get it in all the way before popping out the clutch so he grinded and fell back about 3 cars before he could throw it back in gear. Anyway the speedo now said I was almost doing 130, so decided to throw the blinkers and see if he wanted to stage again. So we both slowed down to like 45 and I yelled to him if he wanted to go from a stop again. He said yes, so I told him to turn around at the next street and we would just go back the other way. Well we get to the next street and move into the turn lane when I spot a cop on the otherside watching for speeders coming from the other way. Figure it wouldn't matter as we would just go past and start farther down the road, anyway we both do uturns. I guess that made the cop think something was funny as there was nobody else on the road then all the sudden 2 sports cars flip uturns right next to eachother, so ofcourse he pulls out and precedes to follow us for about 5 miles. I call my friend on his cell and tell him we should just go back to my house. Anyway I don't know how it would have ended finally because I know my G35 is electronically limited to 142 (proven for 1 hour straight), but we were basically dead even through every gear, save for the launch and his shifting.

My next race was over pretty quickly, I was on my R1 on my way to a club down in scottsdale. I was cruising down an open spot on a otherwise pretty busy scottsdale road, when I came up to a 550 Maranello that was doing the speed limit. Anyways I slowed down next to him and just admired how pretty the car looks, I couldn't see who was driving though, the windows were very dark and it was at night. I turned my attention back to the road and the light I was about to go through turned yellow, nobody behind me so I slammed on the breaks. Well so did the 550, looked over and revved at him, to my suprisingly he revved back. Well it was a short light we are at because there was only 1 car who turned onto our street, and into my lane as luck would have it. I revved again because I figured if he was close I would just slow down for the car. Well light turns green and I decided to launch fairly hard, the rear tire sinks in after a short spin and rockets me through the intersection. Well I was coming up on the car almost immediately so I look to my right and I can see the 550 in my perepheral vision a good ways back so I cut into his lane and wind out second. By that time I was roughly a year ahead of the 550 so I decided to shut it down, and because police love to patrol this road. Anyways I thought the 550 was going to do a flyby when i moved back over into the right lane, but he slowed down and paced me also. The guy rolled down his window and gave me a thumbs up, so ofcourse I returned it and yelled that I love his car. He honked and turned into Devil's Martini, cool guy, rich bastard.

I want to hear the one with the civic, did you play with him?? Mess with hie ego, kinda let him get infront then just open the throttle a little more and roll past him. All the time never leaving 1st gear:)
