soon i'ma get an 00' impreza OBS or 00' RS. my plan is to swap a 02' WRX engine(FJ20) and manual tranny. i'm not too good with swaps so what parts would i need (besides engine and transmission)? and does anyone know any sites i can get them at?

its an EJ20 and u should just mod the 2.5. it will save u money u could still make decent power and still have ur self a good handling AWD wit out spendin money on a not so common swap.

if you're not familiar with engine swaps or familiar andi mean REALLY familiar with subarus DO NOT swap the motor unless you're ready to fork over MAD cash to a shop to fix your crap. wiring is pretty extensive and pretty complicated, not to mention some of the custom 'fitting' you'll have to do with piping, hosing and all that.

but if you're hard headed and still go ahead with it....you'll need engine, tranny, ecu, as much of the wiring as you can get, wiring manuals for both 2.5 and wrx, turbo crossmember, exhaust, all the sensors, and lots of time.
