I have an accord 99 4cyl 75 000 km. It's a nice car, but there is a problem when I drive at 50-60 mph. When I accellerate slowly, the engine speed up and I feel it, but if I accelerate too much, it's like the engine refuse to burn the fuel. All the sparks plug cable has been replace. My friend tell my that the engine need more air to burn the fuel.... Why. All is ok. Engine rebuilt last month. The prob was there before the engine was rebuilt. An Idea???
Thanks :)
Thanks :)

Assuming that the timing etc is all ok, it could be the injectors, or perhaps just a sensor. Those things aren't replaced during a rebuild. This is one time when I'd take it to someone with Honda experence, perphaps to the dealer. You don't have to have them do the work - you can just pay them for the diagnosis.

My 85 does the same. It will actually begin back-fired up through the carb under acceleration. I spoke to a dealer. He said it may be the "reed valve" in the emissions system. It died on me the other day while driving to work. I simply found a blunt object and wrapped on the valve that he described. I hopped in and it fired right up.
Thanks :)

I have some new details. The check engine is now on. So, I bring my accord to the dealer. error code: P011
Low fuel percentage...
Apparently, it's the fuel regulation system the problem. Anybody can confirm it before I pay for that. It's not expensive, but not expensive X 1 or 2 or 3 == much more money in their pocket :(
Any Idea?
