Canvas Metro conv. top?drjeff2003 01-23-2004, 10:35 PM Hello everyone. Newbie to the list here, though I subscribed about two weeks ago and have enjoyed reading the posts. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a canvas convertible top made for the Metro? My vinyl top has gotten the typical sun fading, cracking, and window separating. A canvas top would look sharp on this car, but everyone around only seems to carry vinyl. Thanks for the help. Jeff shagpal 04-01-2005, 04:27 AM Hi Jeff, I just finished installing a grey canvas fabric top on my wife's 93 Geo Metro Convertible. She's really happy and pleased with it. Installed same as the vinyl ones. The one I ordered had a zip down smoked back window. I'd say it's worth it if you are going to take a few hours to install a top anyways, why not use a much better material like the canvas ones. I'll upload a picture of her car with the new top tomorrow. theragtopguy 04-01-2005, 08:42 PM Yo shagpal, where did you purchase this canvas top and how much did it cost? Sounds pretty cool. If you use firefox, it's laid out funny on the page. I post more info in it later. Enjoy! Cheers, Shag.
