There are a few places to get replacement bulbs that are supposed to be brighter. I don't know how well they work, but here is one link:

I bought some on Ebay that were supposed to be the High Intensity look alike lights, but the performance is marginal. I have found the blueish color is not helpful in the rain...otherwise they are OK.

Other post also mentioned many are availble at Walmart, somewhat cheap in the <$40 range. I'll look in next week or so, and report my findings.

I put the Sylvania's in my 99' and by far the best I've used on a full size chevy.....
I do not think you will be sorry....

Look at Jegs or Summitt speed shops. Painless Wiring makes a switch that allows all 4 lights to stay on when the brights come on. Instead of just the high beams staying on. About 30.00 and very easy to install
