95 7.3 diesel glow plug stuckRAD1354 01-20-2004, 10:01 AM I replaced the glow plugs on my 95 F350. One of them broke and is free spinning. Anyone have any suggestions as to how I can get it out without pulling the head. A local shop said not to worry about it as long as I don't have any problems starting, but knowing it is there bothers me. Rick bustedratchet 01-21-2004, 07:43 AM I snapped one off a few years back. I was lucky to have a little sticking out. I soaked it with some penetrating oil then tapped it in ever so slightly that broke whatever was holding it in. Then it pulled right out. ModMech 01-21-2004, 10:32 AM A slide hammer and a "hook" attachment should pull it right out. Put a Vice-Grip on the GP, and use the hook on the slide hammer to pull it out. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
