who would win 1/4 mile and who win downshifting from 60 to 110.
a 99 gsr or a 03 celica gt-s. and if its the gt-s how would it do against the rsx type-s?

Its been said before, and Ill say it again, as much as I hate to, Id say it would be the GTS.

this cant be true can it? if so please explian this one to me, i have so much faith in the integra it pains me to hear such...filth! really though what does the GT-S have that helps it so much, besides a rediculous look.

It's got VVTL-i, Toyota's version of VTEC, and about 180 horsepower.

I think GT-S would own 99 GSR stock for stock. But RSX-S would own GT-S.

I still dont understand the hostility towards either Toyota, or the Celica. I read in the integra forum through money posts mentioning that "unfortunately" the gts is faster. I mean its a faster / nicer looking car.. Owell. Its like you guys dont respect it as a nice car or something. Besides the 180hp. It weighs a little bit lighter i believe and a 6 speed tranny is alaways nice.

I hate celica's. They are fugly IMO. Yes the GTS is faster than a GSR. But the regular celica GT's are SLOW. OMG I can't beliece how slow they are. I stomp them everytime, and I beat GTS's but I don't own a honda anymore. I turned into a mopar freak, because I like torque.

lol umm... Personally dont see where your coming from for the looks, nice bodystyle if you ask me. And the fact that the GT is sooo slow... the GT runs a 16.1 quarter mile. The LS also runs a 16.1 . So it does its purpose, the GT is the lower end celica and ties with the lower end integra, and the GTS celica beats the GSR.

OK well the celica has no in-between like integras do. So if you want to compare LS to GT fine. But compare GTS to ITR----smoked!
GSR is just in between. Besides, intake and exhaust and it would keep up with a GTS anyway.
