Diamond Plating the interior?

I have a 91 civic and i want to strip my carpet out and replace it with diamond plates. I was wondering if anyone new anything about doing this and were i could get the diamond plates. Need help.

You could go to a local welder that you'd trust to custom weld it in your car, or you can buy the APC diamond plate mats (fake diamond plate). If you have a local custom shop that specializes in show cars, you'd probably have luck over there as well. Good luck with your project, it can only add up to a sick ride :smokin:

get your self a dremel(something stronger would be better, like air tools) with a couple diamond cutoff wheels(expensive, but will last), and check here on how to take your car apart:

then, its pretty much a measure, measure, cut, bang(with rubber mallet wrapped in towels to prevent marking) into shape job.

it would definately be unique!!!

EDIT- you prolly want to email this guy. get him to make you a bigger custom sheet, that is thinner, but not so thin as it bends when people step on it.

i did the same thing in my car only i got the pre- cut ones from here. I then got some stainless screws and screwed them into the floor. Make sure you watch were you put the screws in though.
