Can anybody give me any info on the following problem. I have a
high mileage 87 MB 260E. When the car is cold, it starts right up in the morning but when I put the car in Drive, I will get a 3-5 second delay
before it shifts into gear, when I start driving and the car warms up the problem goes away and the trans goes into gear as normal. Does my trans have serious problems? How long before it totally goes? Thanks.

Ihave bmw 85 model the same problem.Itook it to trans shop .they fixed it itwas bad governer so far so good
