03 Kia Sorrento Maintenance

Need assistance in locating where the oil filter and oil pan are on a 2003 Kia Sorrento. I know it should be a simple task but have been unable to find it.

You have to remove all of the shields under the front end to access the pan and filter. Takes a 12mm socket or wrench to remove bolts. Good Luck

only the plastic shield not the metal one. It has 3 bolts tourse the rear and 2 on the front

Yes just the plastic one, put a rag under the filter as it will drain some out and leak all over the metal front one too.
