My Serivce ENGINE light has stayed on the last 3-4 months. I only drive the car to work. (20 miles roundtrip) It is a code 41 (cam Sensor). How do I troubleshoot this problem? Should I be concerned? Thanks.

The vehicle computor is telling you that there is a problem with your cam sensor. I'd replace it otherwise the vehicle will one day refuse to start when you want it to.
Good Luck.

It is a 1991 Regal. The engine is a 3.8L

Is the Cam sensor difficult to replace?

Though the cam sensor is the likely cause, simply replacing the unit is not a good idea. Without troubleshooting the problem, you might miss the fact that the signal goes from the sensor to the ignition module and than to the ECM. Without tracing the problem, this oversight could prove expensive. The cam sensor is used by the ignition module to time spark delivery and by the ECM to sync the injection. Without it, the engine will run, though poorly, but will not restart on shutdown. In general, it is not a good idea to ignore warning lights. Ray
