01 accord headlights removalxroot 01-13-2004, 02:02 PM Hallo, I need to replace headlights on Accord 2001 4-Dr. So far I found three screws that hold them: one on top (the first thing you see when you open the hood) and two directly under the headlight with heads pointing away from the center axis of the car :) I started with the driver side. Unscrewed the three bolts that I mentioned above, but still can't remove the headlight. It seems as if the bumper has to be removed in order to get the headlight assembly out. It also seems as if there is one more screw that is holding the headlight but I can't find it. I looked at the passenger side and i see that many things will have to be moved out of the way: at least the battery and some reservoir :) Any help is greatly appreciated. Are there any internet resources on how to remove the headlight in this car? Thank you, -xroot BullShifter 01-14-2004, 01:17 AM If your replacing the bulbs only then there is no reason to remove the headlight assy. But yeah, in order to remove the headlight assy. the front bumper must be removed. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
