I know the united states makes conversion manditory on skyline GTR's.
Do Gt-t's have to be converted to U.S standards?

What do you mean by "conversion"
the rumor that the entire emissions system needs to be replaced, or "converted", if that's what you mean, is just that - a rumor. There's no truth in it. It's just import regulations.

And as far as I know, there is no such thing as a Skyline GT-T. Since 2001, the only "skyline" nissan has produced is the Nissan Skyline V35, which is a japanese version of the well-known Infiniti G35, and there are "skyline V35" coupes and sedans over there.
For 2005 I believe there is a R35 being released, which will stick around until 2007, when an R36 will be released, and sold in north america. That will be a good day for canadians (and you americans too I guess ;) )

Not that I'm aware of. But I could very well be wrong. Does someone know for sure?

ALL Skylines have to go through the same complaince and legalization processes.

That's not the issue. We were wondering if there was a trim of skyline called the "GT-T".

some common skylines:
R32 GTR, GTS, GXi, GTS4, GTS-t, GTE
R33 GTR, GTS, GTS25t
R34 GTR, 25GTT
These are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head (that I have seen around my area)

Yo !

There is an R34 GT-T.

How ever there is no such skyline GT-S. There is no ( - ) between the letters.

R32
GXI, GTE, GTE-X, GTS, GTS25, GTS-T, GTS4, GTR.

R33
GTS, GTS25, GTS4, GTS25t, GTR

R34
GT, GT25, GT4, GT-T, GTR

It really gets me when people call them GT-S for the GTS, or the R33 GTS-t for the GTS25t.

I have a habit of putting the hyphen in between things like CRX, I always put CR-X but thats the JDM one

It gets to me when people try to make Hondas/Acuras look like Skylines by putting Skyline head lights and tail lights on them. (Prime example in the new import tuner)

Also, the flagrant mis-use of the GTR badge!?! (seen them on a Nissan SE-R, Mustang, and of course Hondas)

And one of the worse insult to a Skyline I've seen was an R32 GTS-t on Okinawa, Japan with a Honda badge! Of course, it was an American's car which explained the ignorance.

WOW, that's the SAME damn one I saw here. The one I saw was white though. Is that thing real? I thought it was just another stupid ass cube car here in japan and somebody stuck a GTR badge on it.

RAZOR you were talkin about how you hate it when people put dashes and what not in the lettering. you missed one....using your terms "there is no GTS4" but there is a GTS-4.

Well, you just proved Razor's point. The GTS4 is just that, no dash either. The only Skylines with dashes are (once again) R32 GTE-x, R32 GTS-t, and the R34 GT-T.

This is only for the R32 series up, otherwise it'd be a longer list with things like the R31 GTS-X, etc.

Thank you GTES-t.

oi_boy it is badged GTS4, it is advertised as a GTS4, and Nissan list's it as a GTS4.

The R32 and R33 both have a GTS4. The R32 is a 2 litre turbo, while the R33 is a 2.5 litre non-turbo.

the sites i am looking at must be misinformed, because they put a dash in the GTS-4

oh and by the way this is the 3000th post in this section! *go me* :icon16:
