Hi all, I have a 94 Camry LE. My car is vibrating bad when its in drive, and idling, it doesnt do it when the car is in Park and idling. I had my motor mounts, transmission mounts, etc checked no problems. Also my rpm is good, with constant idling. Does anyone has any idea where can be the problem please let me konw.

This could be a slight miss in the engine that wouldn't be noticed at the tach.Has the check engine light come on and when was it tuned last?

Thanks for the reply. As far as i know the RPM seems to steady in the RPM meter, i dont know about the tune up, i just got this car about a month back and car has about 80,000 miles in it. Any sugessions?

Forgot to add that there is no engine check light coming on, everything seems to be normal. Is there any balancing stuff that controls the engine vibration?

Motor mounts, they need to be checked and replaced if they are bad.

There is nothing internal that would cause the engine to vibrate and the car still run reasonably well.It would probably be a good idea to start with a tune-up including distributer cap and wires.

You should tune it up, although it would still help if you checked the motor mounts, they tend to go bad rather quickly in the older Camrys.

You try the tune-up, and if all else fails, just rip into it it completely and start a rebuild...that's what I did to mine.

It has to be the motor mounts, either that or you have some really bad tires.
