Well i might finally be getting a 240 :grinyes: i found one and its a 95(Burgundy color), 5 spd, and it has a 126k mi on it. His price 3,000. I was wondering what i should look for(general flaws) to lower the price of the car :dunno: thx :biggrin:

you want to know if there is going to be anything you need to replace or have fixed on the car like tires, a/c, muffler, etc..

check EVERYTHING, i repeat, EVERYTHING

i was helping a friend look for a 240sx, and we ran into alot of timing chain problems.

and any car that really rides fairly low (sports cars like the 240) check to see that the oil pan isnt cracked or exhaust bent from bottoming out, and while your down there check for any general leaks...

if it feels iffy in any way, it probably is

^^^ Yes definitely check exhaust for rotted holders and rust. Also check the trunk for rust. Find out whats been replaced recently and what hasnt.

last night me and my gf went to lok at this 89' fastback....they wanted 1750 for it....i was liek lemme drive it.... it almost turned off while idling... the ODO read 110k, the guy said clean title, i ran a car fax and it had ODO problems the car had 200k+mi and i swear the compression ws fucked and the rings were FRIED
