revell integra type Rcrazyheck 01-10-2004, 04:02 PM this is one of my integra type R's by revell that i have done, the only customizing done to it are tinted windows, and ghost flame decals, not really ghost flames but matched the car so closely u can only see from certain angles or lights. let me know what u think of it. Taillights got messed up a little but nothing major. as you can see in the last picture i was very dissapointed in the run, i did this model a long time ago and have learned not to use testors paint now. http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/131681Dsc03926-med.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/131681Dsc03925-med.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/131681Dsc03924-med.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/131681Dsc03923-med.jpg 86_SR5 01-10-2004, 05:21 PM looks pretty shiney to me, not bad. Dude, don't dis testors, you just have to learn how to work with it, I had to, and they're the most difficult paints to work with. here's a tip, if ur in the US, go to Wal-Mart, down the paint isle, look for a Rustoleum Paint gun plastic thingy, It locks onto any spray can (cept ones with built in plastic heads) and allows you to get a better paint, easier to control the can basically. crazyheck 01-10-2004, 05:53 PM ok cool thanks for the advice drumcat 01-10-2004, 06:34 PM hey 86 i used those things (got em at walmart) there awsome ! gives you so much more control and you get two for a buck 50 so crazy you should pick one up and nice model btw whered you get the decals?? 86_SR5 01-10-2004, 06:37 PM Bryan, I bought the more expensive one, instead of the 2 in a pack one. I agree, I love those, I'm using it on everything that needs to be painted. I think he made the decals with maskingtape and paint. EMAXX 01-10-2004, 08:22 PM Looks good, but what happened to the wing? Like 86 said, don't diss testors. I use Testors all the time and I get wonderful results. It just takes some time to get used to it, but when you do, it seems pretty easy to use. 86_SR5 01-10-2004, 11:21 PM Eugene, you dont necessarily have to use the middle piece of the terminator style wing, I've seen some neons with the wing struts on, and they look cool, and clean. crazyheck 01-10-2004, 11:51 PM i didnt want the centerpiece in the wing, i dunno y, i think it was something i saw in tokyo extreme racer zero actually CamaroSSBoy346 01-11-2004, 12:45 AM fins lol.. BTW i've used Testors grape pearl paint. I used it on my 37 Ford Panel wagon 4x4 (before it fell of my shelf)It worked okay. It didnt stick to the edges and stuff. But i guess thats cause i didnt use primer? Kasso 01-11-2004, 01:59 AM hehe...tinted front windows...street "illegal" eh? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
