Hello, i am a newvie to the Legends. I know that the car was made for simple luxury, but I'm a speed demon and like the looks of luxury and want speed of a sport. Well, not to that extreme. I was just wondering what is the most powerful engine you can put into a 1991 Legend without suffering from under/oversteer. I am willing to move the battery and/or a/c and heater if needed. Well, got to get some sleep now. I'll check back in a day or two. Keep postin gtill then. :sunglasse

I don't know--but the 2004 TL has 270 hp, which is certainly more than the 200 hp your car has now. If I had some great advice I'd tell you. Sorry.

Actually, since you have a '91, you already have 200hp. It would be far wiser to modify the engine you have (assuming it's not trashed and still runs well) and it will be far less expensive than trying to shoehorn another motor in that wasn't made for the engine bay.

Probably not what ya want to hear, but trust me, it's sound advise.
