I had myself a pretty cold night over my weekend and when I atempted to start my 93 S10 Blazar it would not start.

Things I know:
It is a 4.3 'W"
It turns over and fires a few times but will not take off and run.
There is fuel presure but I do not have an actual number yet.
There is spark at the plugs.
Spraying starting fluid into the intake does not help.

Past history on this little thing has been costly, including 3 fuel pumps, injectors, motor mount and power cabling into the under side of the CPI. The wires I refer to having been replaced are the red and blue wires that enter the front of the CPI under the air intake to the right of the EGR valve.

I do not have any engine codes other than 12 which is normal to report.

Fuel pressure checked at 60 pounds, spec was 54 to 62 by my book.

Check for bleed down of the fuel pressure. If it bleeds, take the upper intake manifold off and look for raw fuel in the intake. If it is there, more than likely the CPI regulator has failed. This is a BIG problem with these engines.
