My roomate has a 91 park ave and it sputters like it's really struggleing to stay running. Any ideas. Fuel filter or pump? Anything?

Two things come immediately to mind; fuel pressure and EGR related issues. These vehicles were also prone to airflow meter problems. Getting the problem properly diagnosed before replacing parts goes without saying, but I will say it anyway. If a tech cannot both put his finger on the problem and explain it to you, he does not properly understand the system or the problem. Keep shopping. Ray

thanks we'll look into it. my roomaate hates going to shops cause the last two screwed him over.
