I am very new to this forum so I appreciate any help that I can get. I have already found it very useful. I have a 95 tahoe and the blower fan switch does not work on the high position. Has anyone else encountered this problem and if not does anyone have any suggestions on what the problem could be. Thanks

I'm working on my daughter's '96 model as we speak. Not sur eif you can replace just the switch or if you have to buy a whole unit. I'm trying the epoxy route. Took the switch apart and figured out how it worked. It's been hot (previous problem on speed 3) and that has made the plastic weak, I think. There is a copper plate with an indent that contacts the different speed contacts within the switch. The high speed contact may just have some gook on it and not making contact.

Just talked to my daughter and the switch is still working OK.
