Locks for Rear door of 95 Suburban LTjsnowbordr47 01-05-2004, 02:58 PM I have a 1995 Suburban with the swing out doors in the back. My automatic locks will unlock every door except the back doors. I have to use a key. Has anyone else had this problems? Later, Jeff blueburbboober 01-06-2004, 01:30 AM most likely its either wore out or the lead to it broke. check the wires going into the door, they are right by the catch. mine was broken when i bought my burb. good luck man -Rob RaiderRobert 01-07-2004, 07:43 AM Hey man, you have to clean the contacts on the spring loaded buttons on the door jambs. Sometimes they get corroded being brass. If you notice that the rear defogger doesn't work either, it's the same case. Otherwise, that's all I know. Good luck. toivo 01-08-2004, 01:14 PM if you pull the panel off the right side door the lock mechanism is right behind it. there you can check it for power and lube it at the same time. majorjc 01-08-2004, 09:23 PM My dealer changed the lock actuators in my '99 suburban under warranty when they quit working like that. It was my back door and the passenger side rear door. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
