Fox 3amp fuse probfoxforfox 01-04-2004, 05:13 PM i've been having some mini problems in my 88 fox. anything that runs off a 3 amp fuse is not working. i've checked all the fuses and they are all good to go. i've looked through my bentley quickly, but i thought i should check to see if anyone has had this problem before, we all know the foxes are the freaks of volkswagen. t noodle32 01-14-2004, 05:53 PM you have a bad ground wire somewhere - usually caused by overloading of amperes - a fusebox can only hold so many amperes before it starts frying wires - they need to be no more than maybe 5 over the OEM specs - you can usually find this out in an auto repair manual - I had this prob w/ fuse #12 - no turn signals (had to use hazards) backup lights - all that stuff didnt work - from one Foxer to another (ive had 2 in the past 3 years) I would check the amperes against the OEM to keep the prob from happening again - and then find that grounded wire (that's gotta be the reason) vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
