Sometimes when i press on the accelerator, the car will hesitate for a second......spark plugs? EGR valve?

I'd put money down that it is your air filter. I've seen this a hundred times and it usually always ends up being the air filter. If that doesn't solve it go with a coil, plugs, wires, injectors. It could be that you just need to run some injector cleaner through your gasoline. I dunno. Try the air filter thing first bud. Run without it around the block and see if anything.

Check not only your air filter, but your throttle body as well. Sometimes junk can build up and cause the throttle plate to stick a bit.

It was the air filter....i installed an iceman cold air intake system w/ a K&N air filter. I didnt just go out and buy the intake to see if it would stop the hesitation, i just installed it because i was going to in the first place. No more hesitation
