Indy Yellow Pearl S2000 Progresstc3house 01-04-2004, 12:40 AM I've started building one of my Christmas presents, a Tamiya Honda S2000 (the one with the Mugen?/gold? wheels). The color is Tamiya Chrome Yellow, and the rims are either the factory chrome, Mugen?/gold, Volk TE37's or 17" Volks that I cant name at the moment. Other than lowering it slightly and changing the rims, I dont have any plans to do major modifications ie, I'm building it box stock (kinda). So far the front suspension is giving me trouble, but i'll have it solved soon. Time for pictures, more in the morning... http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/502/522961111.JPG http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/502/52296411.JPG http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/502/522962111.JPG http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/52296Jan_3_4.JPG Comments welcomed! pflau 01-04-2004, 01:11 AM wow!!! nice clean paint job so far!! :ylsuper: digitalbanzai 01-04-2004, 01:25 AM whoa, trippy, i had know idea that S2000s could turn into mx-5s ;) Looks good so far :) chubbs36chambers 01-04-2004, 11:34 AM how did the s2000 become an mx-5 whats up with that? Great job on the Miata too...it looks so real!!! tc3house 01-05-2004, 09:13 AM Thanks for the compliments! The fuel tank is as per instructions, and the MX-5/Miata/Eunos/Roadster was ment to be a picture of my rim selection, but I guess it was lost in the depths of my picture files. Anyhow the body has been curing for a week after 5 coats of Tamiya Chrome Yellow Spray, and now its ready for some glamour shots. http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/52296511.JPG http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/52296611.JPG http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/5229671.JPG http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/522969.JPG http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/5229681.JPG http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/5229613.JPG http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/5229610.JPG How does the Chrome Yellow go with my other creations? http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/5229616.JPG EMAXX 01-05-2004, 09:15 AM Chassis looks good.
