I have recently bought some new 16" Nissan Maxima 2k wheels for my Maxima.

I have done some research on tires. I got it down to two tires.

1. Falken ZE-512 V-rated 225/50/16. I can get them for $375.

2. Cooper Xeon XS2 Z rated 225/50/16. I can get them for about $450.

Which one should I buy??

I've never tested or driven on either of these tires so I can't give you a first-hand opinion. Anyone else out there with experience with these tires? I do know that the correct 16" size for most Maxima fitments should be a 225/55-16. A 50 series is going to be too short and will have too small of an air chamber. It won't have nearly the same load rating you need to have for the car. They would simply be too small.

Well I didnt go with any of the tires I had listed aboive because they were going to take too long to get so I opted on getting some 225/50/16 Kumho 711s. I know they have a smaller sidewall and Im not worried about the load rating because my car is a little older then the newer maximas and doesnt weigh quite as much I think.

These tires stick good though although they are 92H which is a little below what I wanted in respect to the load rating Grant wanted a V rated tire but could not pass on the deal I got. They have not seen rain yet so dont know about that area yet.
