900Hp M3 E36Porsche_lover 01-03-2004, 09:17 AM WOW! :screwy: This crazy dude already pushes 700hp, now he turned up the boost and is pushing 900HP!! Now comes the crazy part, he is fitting NOS, to make it 1200HP!! INSANE!!! 0-62 in 4.2 and 62- 125mph in 5.8sec!! Without NOS!! LOL! :screwy: 1/4 mile times should be around 10seconds ? BiMMa b0i M3 01-08-2004, 05:38 AM i find it hard to believe that turbo boost would be able to push 900hp especially with an M3. and sides the M3 engine even when heavily modded will not be able to take that much hp, it will blow up, and there is no need for NOS, BMW's were never made to be all motor like those rice rockets out there, they have been heavily tested to be able to have top notch performance, luxury, immaculate handling, and engine reliabilty, and convenience. sides i have seen bmw's with less hp push faster times that what you have posted. BESTMPOWER 01-09-2004, 05:32 PM I am the owner of that M3. Base engine has 321 hp. So the european version. We have forged internals and best quality parts such as the intercooler, fuel system.... With the turbocharger we tried 30 psi and we will buy a new turbocharger in 20 days and run the same boost. Nitrous oxide will be controlled with the NX maximizer, a kind of computer controlling over the N2O. Now, we are installing the n2o. Looks sexy with the 6 nozzles on the six intake runners. BYW the M3 tranny was made by Getrag and on their web page the maximum torque for the E36 m3 3,2L tranny is declared to be 10 NM higher than that of the Twin Turbo Supra. As Supras push 1000 hp we will also have no problems with the tranny. Wish us luck. You can visit www.racingflix.com and chck our supercharged M3's mpegs. By that time we had 415 hp:) 86turbo944 01-24-2004, 08:28 PM Even if this engine reached that 900hp, i would like to know how long it would last before it blew...even WITH internal modifications. Also is 900hp at the crank or at the wheels? If its 900hp at the crank, that insane. If its 900hp at the wheels, that's mind boggling. BESTMPOWER -would you mind posting a dyno sheet? That would lay my doubts to rest. Also, what size of rear tire are you using? I imagine traction would be a bitch. Porsche lover I believe that your 0-100kph (0-62) is incorrect. An Active Autowerke OBD-1 E36 M3 (1995 model year) with a stage 2 turbo has 430 BHP and 425 ft/lbs of torque, http://www.activeautowerke.com/turbo/OBDI-E36-M3-STG2-Turbo.asp and it runs 0-60 faster than the M3 you refer to with half the horsepower. Then again, as I said to BESTMPOWER, traction is a bitch, and is his hp claims are correct, then that might account for the discrepency. m3turbo 01-28-2004, 10:23 AM WOW! :screwy: This crazy dude already pushes 700hp, now he turned up the boost and is pushing 900HP!!
