Nissan S13 << progress thread >>Towelboy80 01-03-2004, 06:23 AM This is a new project. For this car I haven't made a bodykit but only added a custom front spoiler (2 spoilers were in the box). The wheels are the Volk Racing TE37MAG (18"). For the wheels I don't know if it's better to paint them in grey or leave them in white... Sebstar 01-03-2004, 06:26 AM man, i love your litte diorama with the fast and the furious poster... its so awsome :D and as for the wheels, definately white, they give the car a great contrast! RyanGiorgio 01-03-2004, 11:03 AM Used that bumper on my S13. Only modified it a little bit. http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=500/35311100_1069.jpg hypertek 01-03-2004, 02:13 PM no white/red taillights!! well if your doing that euro clear style, then ok. hehe Which S13 kit is that? Hows the red? I got the same red for my 180 but yet still doing body work to it. Kasso 01-03-2004, 08:13 PM looks nice!!! do you have a link to HLJ for that silvia model? ShOrtyOC714 01-03-2004, 09:11 PM looks nice!!! do you have a link to HLJ for that silvia model? Its not that hard. Just go to HLJ and type in Silvia for the search and it will come up. BTW Nice build man, keep up the good work! fujimituner235 01-04-2004, 03:29 AM like the red alot. Towelboy80 01-04-2004, 06:49 AM Sebstar> Thanks for the diorama, it will be finished soon... RyanGiorgio> Your Silvia kicks ass, mine is soft no bodykit, etc... ;) hypertek> Here is a pic with the taillights I want to do: http://users.skynet.be/tuningcars/Nissan/S13/docs/S13-Taillights.jpg About the kit, it's the Silvia K's in 18 inch profile version REF: 18010. The color is italian red from Tamiya. Kasso 01-04-2004, 01:59 PM Its not that hard. Just go to HLJ and type in Silvia for the search and it will come up. BTW Nice build man, keep up the good work! ya but theres more than 1 s13 and i want the one with the extra bumpers.:thefinger 86_SR5 01-04-2004, 03:15 PM Cool. But didn't you build that kick-assed S14 with the lightning rims, Evo hood scoop, r32 front lenses etc? That was a mean machine, this one is cool too, but kinda soft. ShOrtyOC714 01-04-2004, 03:49 PM ya but theres more than 1 s13 and i want the one with the extra bumpers.:thefinger The one with the extra bumper is the Fujimi Silvia K, btw i am getting one my self too. :iceslolan Ryan and Towelboy got me hooked on S13's... :p Towelboy80 01-04-2004, 04:08 PM Cool. But didn't you build that kick-assed S14 with the lightning rims, Evo hood scoop, r32 front lenses etc? That was a mean machine, this one is cool too, but kinda soft. ;) Yes the car is softer than the S14 but I haven't felt like making a bodykit. The car will be almost "from box". :D RyanGiorgio 01-04-2004, 04:17 PM I'd definately go with those red/clear taillights. Should look great. JDM4LiFe 01-05-2004, 03:44 AM Silvia is all that needs to be said... Soft, Hard, Modified, Out of the box. It is still a Silvia and they demand respect.... RESPECT tonioseven 01-06-2004, 07:48 PM Looks great! It would look mean with Gunmetal rims but the white looks just as good!! :) JBarry 01-06-2004, 08:26 PM I don't think I've ever seen white rims used before but I do like them on your model. Nice. In the wire, J. Barry Towelboy80 01-09-2004, 03:29 PM Update: full black rear windows, 2 coats of metallic red on the italian red coat & taillights. http://users.skynet.be/tuningcars/Nissan/S13/S13-Ph3-Side1.jpg http://users.skynet.be/tuningcars/Nissan/S13/S13-Ph3-Rear1.jpg z_dutchie 01-09-2004, 03:43 PM looks very cool keep it up dude 86_SR5 01-09-2004, 07:30 PM nice, 1000kudos for different rims! hypertek 01-09-2004, 10:11 PM loose the 2fast2corny poster!! hehe. That and a Silvia do not mix. Instead print a Option magazine cover, will go with the car better. digitalbanzai 01-10-2004, 02:44 PM Not such a big point, but i'd leave stock wheels on the back if i was going for the "drift look" different wheels on front and back. The Enkei NT-03 and the Ray's TE37 are both expensive wheel sets, usually the car will have the expensive rims on the whole car for most of the time, but when drift time comes the good wheels are swapped with the not so good ones so that the good ones are not damaged. ;) Just a pointer :) SchuberT 01-10-2004, 02:48 PM wha... you know a lot... i thought the different wheel were just for looks, lol... how ignorant of me Towelboy80 01-10-2004, 02:52 PM Not such a big point, but i'd leave stock wheels on the back if i was going for the "drift look" different wheels on front and back. Still the window trims, panel lines & paint the wheels to be more realistic. Hope you like. hypertek 01-12-2004, 05:14 PM nice, is that the stock ride hieght or did/are you going to modify the suspension? SchuberT 01-12-2004, 06:28 PM very cool... love to see the finished product vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
