93 S-10 engine quits when idle for too long

2.8 stalls when idle. then starts up and it feels like its timing or something

if you find it stumbling when it's idling then i would say it is timing, or possibly your Idle Air Control Motor, sometimes they get weak and die.

Check your simple ignition parts (cap, rotor, plugs, wires) but I bet it's your timing.

How would it off all of sudden? Were you back there and didn't tell us? :nono: :biggrin:

My 92 4.3 Code W was off 20 degrees and it wouldn't stall unless in gear with lights and heater on.

The Electronic Spark Control systems work REALLY good in the gen 1's!
It never knocked once while off 20 degrees.
