milky pink trans fluid, coolant lowscubatomm 01-01-2004, 04:56 PM 99 plymouth voyager w/ 75k miles 4cyl auto., suddenly the van overheated and spewed pink milky stuff all over, found the trans fluid to be milky, but also the coolant is low and the radiator has the pink milky stuff in it too. I'm thinking the trans cooler tubing or whatever that passes thru the radiator must have sprung a leak, broke off? etc. Has anyone ever heard of this happening?? It's a new one on me after monking w/ cars for about 35 years. Thanks, Tom tazman 01-06-2004, 12:42 AM It sounds like a water port in the head has blown through. That's where there is no visible leak until the head is remove and then you can see the channel cut in the gasket from water pressure. Did the same thing on 2 older Omni's I once owned. Check the head for warpage and then replace the head gasket provided the engine is still good. tazman 01-06-2004, 12:46 AM Oops! Sorry. Should have read your post a little better. It is the rad trans cooling tube that has coroded or is defective and caused your leakage. 98JADENEON 02-03-2004, 11:22 AM It sounds like a water port in the head has blown through.
